Skip Connors To Succeed Jesse Lawrence As CEO Of N.Y.-Based Aggregator TicketIQ

N.Y.-based ticket aggregator TicketIQ has named SKIP CONNORS as its new CEO, succeeding company founder JESSE LAWRENCE, who will now focus entirely on sales, business development and industry partnerships. Connors joined TicketIQ last year as Senior VP/Strategic Partnerships, and previously was President & CEO of newspaper ad software company Newstec. TicketIQ, meanwhile, has also closed on a $6M Series A round of venture capital led by Contour Ventures and Stonehenge Capital. The company additionally has created a new group of company advisors including former NBAer CHARLES SMITH and KEVIN FLYNN, who previously hosted ESPN's MLS podcast “Over The Ball.” Lawrence: "I’m a sales and business development guy by nature, and we’re putting together an overall team and structure to really grow the company."
