Brady Retains Top Spot Among Best-Selling NFL Jerseys; Cowboys Have Four In Top 10

Patriots QB Tom Brady had the top-selling NFL jersey last year, keeping the top spot he also had in '15, according to new figures from NFLShop.com. The Patriots QB beat out two rookies on the Cowboys -- RB Ezekiel Elliott and QB Dak Prescott -- for the top spot. As a mark of Brady’s national popularity, the Patriots QB’s jersey was the top selling NFL jersey in all 50 states in February, the month that he led his team to a dramatic come-from-behind victory in Super Bowl LI. Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. and Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski rounded out the top five for jersey sales. Panthers QB Cam Newton, who finished No. 2 last season, fell to No. 17 this season. Panthers LB Luke Kuechly also fell from No. 8 to No. 23. There were four Cowboys in total in the top 10, as WR Dez Bryant and TE Jason Witten held their spots at No. 9 and 10, respectively (THE DAILY).
