In Milwaukee, Rich Kirchen noted the parent company of ATI Physical Therapy, which has been a "significant sponsor" of the Bucks and Brewers since '12, "faces a lawsuit by the Brewers for reneging on a three-year contract extension" worth $1.74M. ATI Physical Therapy in February '12 "took over sponsorship of the right field patio area at Miller Park." The Brewers lawsuit against ATI Physical Therapy’s parent company ATI Holdings LLC alleges a marketing firm representing ATI agreed in November '16 to a "contract starting this year to continue the ATI Club sponsorship" through '19. However, the lawsuit says that in December '16, ATI sent the Brewers a letter "denying the company had entered into the agreement and allegedly 'refusing to perform' its contractual obligation" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/10).

SIXTH SENSE: ESPN.com's Darren Rovell reported the Patriots on Feb. 7, just two days after winning Super Bowl LI for their fifth championship, "filed to trademark the phrase 'Blitz for Six,' hoping to use it on clothing." The Patriots on Tuesday also "filed to trademark" the "No Days Off" phrase that coach Bill Belichick chanted during the team's victory parade (ESPN.com, 2/12).

DOUBLE FAULT: In San Antonio, Terrence Thomas notes due to a "lack of corporate sponsorship," a lower-level WTA event in San Antonio "will not be played." Tournament promoter Ben Goldsmith yesterday said that the WTA 125K Series event was shuttered because the another event his company operates in Hawaii was "more financially feasible" (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 2/13).

SHIRT SALE: In Ft. Lauderdale, Omar Kelly noted Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi is in the "process of creating a clothing brand called Y.U.R.P., which stands for 'Your Unlocked Raw Power'" (South Florida SUN-SENTINEL, 2/11).
