Marketplace Roundup

The WALL STREET JOURNAL's Joe Flint noted Walt Disney is "restructuring how its entertainment television networks and their respective digital platforms sell advertising." Under the new design, ad sales for channels such as Freeform and Disney Channel will be "combined under one umbrella." But ESPN "isn’t part of the new structure" (WSJ.com, 2/8).

BEST YET TO COME? Holly Holm's manager Lenny Fresquez said that the UFC fighter's popularity and marketability "remain intact" despite two consecutive losses following her defeat of Ronda Rousey in '15. Last week, she "renewed an existing sponsorship agreement with Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, a high-profile manufacturer of dietary supplements" (ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL, 2/8).

PUT A BOW ON IT: iEntertainment Network's new partnership with UFC fighter T.J. Dillashaw will begin with a joint promotion surrounding the Bow Hunter '16-17 simulation game tournament series for iOS and Android devices (IENT).
