New Versions Of Adidas' Yeezy Cleats Appear During NFL Play With Von Miller, Dak Prescott

adidas' Yeezy Cleats "made another on-field NFL appearance" in Week 16, with Broncos LB Von Miller launching the Triple Black style, according to Aria Hughes of WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY. Shortly after Miller wore the cleats during the Week 16 game, adidas "announced on its Instagram account that the black colorway would be sold to the public at some point." Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on "MNF" also "wore the model, but in a beige colorway." Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson and Bills WR Sammy Watkins previously "wore the 350 version of the cleats and were fined up to $6,000 by the NFL." According to the league, cleats must have a "solid base layer -- the 350s are cream and black with a marbled effect" (WWD.com, 12/27). In Dallas, Adam Grosbard writes given that Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott is a Nike athlete and Prescott reps adidas, the duo "really like to get each other over their sneaker choice." Wearing the shoes designed by Kanye West, one of Elliott's favorite rappers, was "apparently enough for Prescott to earn some respect" from Elliott. Elliott tweeted, "@dak finally got his shoe game right" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 12/28).
