Sources said that the Clippers have promoted assistant coach LAWRENCE FRANK to Exec VP/Basketball Operations, where he will report directly to President of Basketball Operations and coach DOC RIVERS. Sources said that Frank will be "charged with reshaping the franchise's front office, including building out the infrastructure of its scouting, sports science and long-term strategic planning." Sources also said that Clippers GM DAVE WOHL "remains on the job, but will report to Frank and Rivers" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 6/29).

EXECS: Allstate named former MillerCoors VP/Brand Marketing GANNON JONES Senior VP/Product Marketing. Jones will report to Exec VP/Marketing, Innovation & Corporate Relations SANJAY GUPTA.
