Longtime ESPN Exec David Preschlack To Lead NBC Sports' RSNs, Platform Strategy

NBC Sports Group today named former ESPN Exec VP/Affiliate Sales & Marketing DAVID PRESCHLACK President of NBC Sports Regional Networks and NBC Sports Group Platform & Content Strategy. Preschlack will be charged with overseeing all RSNs in the NBC Sports portfolio and the entire NBC Sports platforming strategy. While at ESPN, he handled oversight of content distributed on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices, while also overseeing the U.S. cable, telco and satellite affiliate sales, global distribution and strategy, digital video distribution and affiliate marketing for all of Disney's linear TV and digital networks (NBC). Preschlack left ESPN at the end of '15 following two decades with the company. He fills the lead role for NBC's RSN group that was previously held by JON LITNER, who left the company at the end of '15 following a decade running the RSN group. Preschlack is an SBJ/SBD "40 Under 40" HOFer, having been honored three times (THE DAILY).
