In New Orleans, Evan Woodbery reported TOM BENSON "has a new title" on the Saints' website, as he is "described simply as 'owner,' rather than 'chairman of the board.'" Meanwhile, the Saints promoted KHAI HARLEY to VP/Football Administration, JENNA ROMIG to Manager of Partnership Activation, JAMIE MOORE to Community Affairs Coordinator and JOHN BAUMGARTNER to Equipment Manager. The team also promoted LAUREN LEVENSON to Assistant to Exec Officer GAYLE BENSON, COREY GAUDET to Assistant Equipment Manager, BEAU LOWERY to Dir of Rehabilitation, ASHLEY AMOSS to Videographer, BAILEE BROWN and BEN MARTINEZ to Scouting Assistants and GREG CASTILLO to Scouting Intern (NOLA.com, 7/29).

GETTING READY FOR RIO: PR firm Edelman and its marketing agency United Entertainment Group have reorganized their global sports division to take advantage of the ’16 Rio Games. To lead the group, UEG has appointed N.Y.-based Exec VP ERIN WEINBERG as head of Olympic business in the U.S., and Edelman Significa has tapped Exec VP NATALIA MARTINEZ to serve as head of strategic programs in Brazil. Both will oversee strategy and execution on all Olympic accounts, and they will report to UEG President of Sports & Experiential Marketing MARY SCOTT. The firms also designated five other senior execs across various Edelman divisions as the Olympic leads on the project (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer).

: Foot Locker named PAWAN VERMA as Senior VP & Chief Information Officer, effective Aug. 10. Verma, who previously served as Target VP/Digital & Marketing Technologies & Services Platforms, succeeds PETER BROWN, who retired in April (Foot Locker)....The OHL Mississauga Steelheads named JAN EGERT Assistant GM. Egert joins the team after spending two years with the NHL Central Scouting Dept. (Steelheads).
