MLS Atlanta named investment group NextGen Angels Senior VP ANN RODRIGUEZ VP/Business Operations, effective June 22. She will report to President DARREN EALES and will work closely with AMB Sports & Entertainment in managing cross-functional groups providing services and expertise in PR and community relations for the Falcons, MLS Atlanta and the new downtown stadium (MLS Atlanta).

SWITCHING COASTS: Media rights firm MP & Silva named YouTube Manager of Sports Content Partnerships WILLIAM MAO VP/Digital. In the new role, Mao will help develop the firm's strategic expansion into various forms of digital content, including video-on-demand, over-the-top programming, IPTV and live streaming. He will be based in N.Y. (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

EXECS: The AFL L.A. Kiss named former Arizona Rattlers President JOE WINDHAM CEO, where he will oversee both business and football operations (Kiss)....The Bears named former Saints salary cap analyst JOEY LAINE Dir of Football Administration, where he will be the team's "lead player-contract negotiator and top salary cap manager" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 5/28)....The Hornets named former NBAer DELL CURRY an ambassador and special projects advisor. Curry "will continue" in his role as a color analyst for games on SportSouth and FS Carolinas. The intent is to "use him as a resource throughout the franchise, whether it be helping" GM RICH CHO, coach STEVE CLIFFORD or the marketing department (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 5/28)....Utah State Univ. named Exec Associate AD/External Operations and Senior Woman Administrator JANA DOGGETT interim AD, assuming the duties of SCOTT BARNES, who will officially leave for the Pitt AD position tomorrow (DESERET NEWS, 5/27)....Jack Morton Worldwide named Momentum Worldwide Exec VP & Dir of Experiential Marketing ROB MCQUEEN President of its N.Y. office. McQueen also will be a member of Jack Morton's Exec Team, effective June 8 (Jack Morton Worldwide)....NESN named Fox Sports MLB Dir JEFF MITCHELL Coordinating Producer for Red Sox games.
