Univision averaged 2.91 million viewers for the Liga MX Chivas de Guadalajara-Club America match on Sunday night, marking the most-viewed regular-season club soccer match -- from any league -- in the U.S. in over five years. The match had competition from ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball,” which drew 2.45 million viewers for Mets-Yankees, as well as from TNT’s Wizards-Raptors Game 4, which drew 2.37 million viewers.
RING MASTERS: HBO on Saturday night drew 1.64 million viewers for the Wladimir Klitschko-Bryant Jennings fight from 11:15pm-12:02am ET, marking the most-viewed boxing match on cable TV this year to date. Meanwhile, Spike on Friday night drew 569,000 viewers for the net’s second “Premier Boxing Champions” telecast, down 35% from the net's first telecast on March 13. Friday night’s telecast had competition from both NBA Playoffs and Stanley Cup Playoff games.
