DraftServ Beer Kiosks Coming To United Center For Blackhawks, Bulls Playoff Games

Fans at Bulls and Blackhawks playoff games "will be able to pour their own brews, thanks to a trial run by arena concessionaire Levy Restaurants with DraftServ," according to Danny Ecker of CRAIN'S CHICAGO BUSINESS. Two DraftServ units, each with four taps, "will be installed at the United Center, stationed ... near Section 110 of the arena." They will be in use starting with Bulls-Bucks Game 1 on Saturday and "through the postseason for both Chicago teams." Fans will "have a choice of Bud Light and Budweiser at 42.5 cents per ounce, or Stella Artois and Goose Island at 47.5 cents per ounce." Prepaid card values are "to be determined, but a pilot program" with the Hawks at Philips Arena this season "offered prepaid card values of $15 and $30." United Center "becomes only the second of Levy's arena clients to install DraftServ." Levy Dir of Beverages Sean Parisi is "optimistic it will continue to expand, and could be a staple at Bulls and Blackhawks games next season" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 4/16).
