MLB Network formally named Exec VP ROB MCGLARRY its new President, leading all day-to-day operations for the net and reporting to MLB President of Business & Media BOB BOWMAN. McGlarry succeeds TONY PETITTI, who last week was named MLB COO. McGlarry's appointment was first reported in SportsBusiness Journal. He has been with MLB since '03 in a variety of broadcasting roles (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Altitude Sports & Entertainment promoted Senior VP/Media Sales BEN BOYLAN to President (Altitude)....Nike promoted VP/Global Sales TOM PEDDIE to VP & GM/Emerging Markets, replacing ROLAND WOLFRAM, who, “after 16 years with Nike, has decided to retire from the company on Jan. 9.” Peddie also previously held “senior-level management positions in Nike’s global sales organization,” including a stint as VP/Sales for Asia Pacific & North America (OREGONLIVE.com, 12/9)....Marketing and event operations firm Dynamic Sports Management named 76ers and Devils consultant JIM FIORE Partner, President & CEO. Fiore was dismissed as Stony Brook Univ. AD in November ’13. Sources at the time said that there were "numerous claims of inappropriate behavior” (THE DAILY)....The Univ. of Utah promoted Senior Associate AD/Administration KYLE BRENNAN to Deputy AD (SLTRIB.com, 12/9)....Executive search firm Sucherman Consulting Group named The Spin-Offs Network VP/Development & Production RICHARD TACKENBERG Senior Consultant in its L.A. office (SCG).
