WHAT WOMEN WANT: Dick's Sporting Goods' list of the chain's top-selling female NFL jerseys this season, which was topped by Colts QB Andrew Luck, was discussed on CSN Bay Area's "Yahoo Sports Talk Live" yesterday, with KGMZ-FM's John Middlekauff saying of Luck, "Women like intelligence; it’s not always about your looks.” CSN Bay Area's Jim Kozimor said Panthers LB Luke Kuechly was "probably the most unlikely character" on the list, but he understood Kuechly's inclusion because he is a "handsome guy." Kozimor noted he thought Seahawks QB Russell Wilson would have been a "little higher," as he is a "good-looking guy, Super Bowl champ, newly single." Kozimor added, "I would have thought Tom Brady would have been near the top of the list.” San Jose Mercury News columnist Mark Purdy said, "Players talk about this stuff on the bus when they come in. A couple of the Raiders told me they would always look and see who was wearing their jerseys” (“Yahoo Sports Talk Live,” CSN Bay Area, 11/4).
