Rise Up: Falcons Release Video Touting New $1.2B Downtown Stadium's Functionality

To promote their new $1.2B stadium set to open in '17, the Falcons have released a video, which starts with "shots of Atlanta’s skyline and comments" from Owner Arthur Blank, according to Carla Caldwell of the ATLANTA BUSINESS CHRONICLE. The video also "includes footage of downtown Atlanta landmarks and animation of the stadium’s roof opening and closing." Between shots of "landmarks that include the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola, various phrases are displayed on the scene." The phrases include, “An Icon that Will Define Atlanta,” "In the Heart of Downtown," "A Venue for the Biggest Events in the World," and "A Stadium Unlike Any Other." The video closes with the phrase, "Be There From the Beginning" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/22). The ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION noted also featured in the video is the "first peek at [the] stadium's functionality." Viewers get a "look at the lights display" (AJC.com, 7/21).
