Overnight Ratings: WNBA All-Star Game Lower With Move From ABC To ESPN

ESPN drew a 0.5 overnight rating for Saturday afternoon’s WNBA All-Star Game, down slightly from a 0.6 overnight last year, when the event aired on ABC. There was no ASG game held in ’12 due to the London games. The game drew a 0.6 overnight on ABC in ’11.

ONLY THE LONELY: The Nationwide Series had the weekend to itself among NASCAR's top series, as both the Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series had breaks in their respective schedules. Saturday night’s EnjoyIllinois.com 300 drew a 1.0 overnight rating on ESPN2, down from a 1.6 overnight on ESPN for a Sunday afternoon telecast in both ’13 and ’12. ESPN yesterday afternoon aired coverage of the NHRA Mello Yello Series, earning a 0.7 overnight.
