The PGA of America named former Sporting News Media President JEFF PRICE Chief Commercial Officer. Price will be responsible for "all of the PGA’s media, both broadcast and digital, marketing, sponsorship, merchandising, communications and international ventures." He will report to CEO PETE BEVACQUA and work from PGA HQs in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., beginning Aug. 1. Meanwhile, PGA of America CMO KEVIN RING will "add the responsibilities of partnership management and sales" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 6/23 issue).

EXECS: Bucks CFO MIKE BURR will "stay on temporarily as new owners WES EDENS and MARC LASRY begin to put their own stamp on the franchise." Burr said that Edens and Lasry "asked him to stay on for three months." Also, JOANNE ANTON, who serves as Project Coordinator and Special Assistant to former Bucks Owner HERB KOHL, "now works in Kohl's private office" in downtown Milwaukee. Anton in an e-mail wrote her job title "stays the same," but she will "no longer work on Bucks' projects" (JSONLINE.com, 6/20)....The Hurricanes named former Oilers Assistant GM RICKY OLCZYK to the same position (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 6/21)....Nike named VP & GM of Global Young Athletes REENIE BENZIGER VP/Global Apparel (Nike)....The Univ. of Wisconsin-La Crosse named Deputy AD KIM BLUM interim AD, effective July 7. She replaces JOSH WHITMAN, who accepted the position of Washington Univ. AD (UW-La Crosse)....Millsaps College named Univ. of Georgia Assistant AD/Internal Operations JOSH BROOKS AD (Millsaps).
