Rogers Communications Vice Chair & Exec VP/Regulatory PHIL LIND will retire at the end of '14 "after 45 years" with the company. Lind "will continue as a consultant at Toronto-based Rogers for three years, working on specific projects." He also "will retain his seat" on the BOD (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 4/22).

EXECS: R&A CEO PETER DAWSON "has announced his retirement." He will leave his post in September '15 after taking the reins in '99 (GOLFWEEK.com, 4/22)....The Lakers promoted General Counsel JIM PERZIK to Senior VP/Legal Affairs & Secretary, and named National Sports Law Group Chair DAN GRIGSBY General Counsel (Lakers). He has spent the last few months in Memphis assisting with the team's ownership transition. The Cardinals also named Redbirds GM BEN WEISS Senior Advisor (Cardinals)....Biloxi Baseball Club named Double-A Southern League Huntsville Stars GM BUCK ROGERS to the same position. The Stars are moving to Biloxi for the '15 season (Biloxi)....Asia MMA organization One FC offered UFC fighter RICH FRANKLIN a position as VP (MMAWEEKLY.com, 4/22)....Global Force Wrestling named Fox NASCAR analyst HERMIE SADLER to its BOD (GFW).
