Final Four Names In The News: Jerry Jones Hosts Les Moonves And More In Owner's Box

Cowboys Owner JERRY JONES and his wife, GENE, during Saturday's Final Four games hosted an assortment of execs and celebrities in their suite at AT&T Stadium, including CBS President & CEO LES MOONVES and his wife, JULIE CHEN. Also in attendance were Stars President & CEO JIM LITES, AT&T Cotton Bowl President & CEO RICK BAKER, Papa John's Pizza Founder, Chair & CEO JOHN SCHNATTER, AT&T Chair & CEO RANDALL STEPHENSON and AT&T Senior Exec VP & Global Marketing Officer CATHY COUGHLIN (DALLASNEWS.com, 4/5). In Dallas, Jon Machota noted when Jerry Jones was shown on the video board during the UConn-Florida game "he got booed," but "smiled and waved." Machota: "You're not going to upset Jerry Jones with a little booing." If it "wasn't for Jones ... the Final Four might not even be in North Texas." Other celebrities at the first semifinal game included Fox NFL analyst TROY AIKMAN, rapper LL COOL J, NASCAR driver DANICA PATRICK and Rockets C DWIGHT HOWARD (DALLASNEWS.com, 4/5).

HOW SUITE IT IS: Genesco Sports Enterprises CEO JOHN TATUM "hosted executives of his clients MillerCoors and Pepsi in his Hall of Fame-level box." NASCAR driver BRAD KESELOWSKI and Seahawks QB RUSSELL WILSON "showed up in the Genesco suite for Game 2." Oklahoma State booster T. BOONE PICKENS had a suite "just a few doors down" from Jones' box. Also spotted on Saturday were "DUCK DYNASTY" star WILLIE ROBERTSON and Fox News' LAURA INGRAHAM "happily planted in front-row suite seats just down from the Jones' box" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 4/6).

OUT ON THE TOWN: Nike co-Founder & Chair PHIL KNIGHT hosted a party last night "at the Joule hotel after BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's concert." Meanwhile, ESPN college basketball announcer DICK VITALE and his wife LORRAINE "turned up Sunday at Al Biernat's for dinner while comedian-turned-pundit DENNIS MILLER caught an early meal at Nick & Sam's" and Moonves and Chen "dined at E Bar Tex-Mex" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 4/7).
