Pacers Lead Eastern Conference With 18% Rise In Attendance At Bankers Life Fieldhouse

The Pacers hold the best record among all NBA teams as February comes to a close, and the strong on-court play has translated to the box office. Average attendance at Bankers Life Fieldhouse is 17,267, up 18% through the same period last season. The Bulls continue to lead all NBA clubs at the gate with 21,634 per game and are the only team averaging over the 20,000-per-game mark. An expansion of Madison Square Garden has led the Knicks to a 4% attendance boost. The 76ers, who sit near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, are down a league-worst 18% at the gate. Also seeing declines are the Magic (-9%) and Bucks (-8%). Listed below is team-by-team attendance for the Eastern Conference. See Thursday's issue for Western Conference figures (THE DAILY).
