Tennis Channel today announced a three-year contract extension with on-air personality Mary Carillo that expands her role and keeps her with the network through '16. In addition to her current French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open assignments, she will cover the Sony Open in Miami in March. She also will cover numerous other events throughout the year from L.A. as part of Tennis Channel's in-studio team (Tennis Channel).

DOUBLE RAINBOW! In Honolulu, Ferd Lewis reports several signs point to the Univ. of Hawaii "renewing its athletic pay-per-view and television broadcast agreement with Oceanic Time Warner Cable shortly." The deal is "expected to be multiyear and in excess" of the $2.3M UH is currently guaranteed per year. Oceanic's "exclusive four-month window for renegotiation closes Friday," and sources said that Oceanic recently "upped" its original offer (Honolulu STAR-ADVERTISER, 2/27).

ALL-STAR LINEUP: MTV2 and MLB announced that rappers Sway and Fat Joe, along with "Girl Code" and "Guy Code" stars Chris Distefano and Melanie Iglesias will host "Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave," a new series premiering in April on MTV2. Red Sox DH David Ortiz is serving as exec producer of the series. Mariners 2B Robinson Cano, Orioles CF Adam Jones, Braves P Craig Kimbrel, Marlins P Jose Fernandez and Rays RF Wil Myers have signed on as exec producers (MLB).
