Learfield Sports yesterday named NASCAR VP/Digital Media MARC JENKINS COO. Jenkins begins Jan. 20 and will relocate from Charlotte to Learfield's HQs in Plano, Texas. Learfield Exec VP & COO ANDY RAWLINGS will remain, but assumes the newly created position of Chief Revenue Officer (Learfield).

HOT IN CLEVELAND: The Indians named Procter & Gamble exec BRIAN BARREN Exec VP/Sales & Marketing. Barren was most recently "director of P&G's Kroger customer business development team." Indians President MARK SHAPIRO "lured his friend away from a productive, 24-year career" at P&G. The two were teammates on the Princeton football team in '87 and '88 (CRAINSCLEVELAND.com, 1/12).

STAYING WITH THE SENS: The Senators agreed to a contract extension through '16 with GM BRYAN MURRAY, and named him President of Hockey Operations. Murray will remain in that capacity for two more seasons and then stay an additional two years in an advisory role. The team also promoted Dir of Player Personnel PIERRE DORION and Dir of Player Development & Hockey Administration RANDY LEE to Assistant GM (Senators).

EXECS: The D-Backs named Legends Entertainment District GM JUDD NORRIS VP/Corporate Partnerships.
