The NCAA named Nike Dir of Governing Body Relations JOAN SCOTT Managing Dir of the D-I Men's Basketball Championship. Scott will work with VP/Men's Basketball DAN GAVITT and her predecessor JEANNE BOYD, who she will succeed after the '14 Final Four (NCAA).

AGENCY ADDS: Relativity Sports named ICM talent agent BRETT CARELLA VP/Development. He will report to President JOSH SWARTZ. The company's SFX Baseball division hired VANESSA BAEZ as a marketing agent reporting to Relativity Senior VP/Business Development AARON SPIEWAK. The division also named LAINA MYERS Client Service Manager, and GIOVANNI RODRIGUEZ and JIM REID MLB agents, all of whom will report to division President FERN CUZA and CEO MARK PIEPER (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/21 issue).

EXECS: GMR Marketing named State Farm Manager of Marketing Communications TODD FISCHER VP/Client Management at HQs in Milwaukee. Fischer worked at GMR for three-plus years before joining State Farm....WGT Media named former ESPN exec ED WILLETT VP/Sales and Sponsorship at a newly established Manhattan office (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/21 issue)....The WNBA Dream announced that GM & coach FRED WILLIAMS will not return in either role and is being moved into a consultant role until a new coach and/or GM is hired. Williams has been with the Dream since its inaugural season in '08 (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 10/19)....The Chicago Tribune named Washington Times reporter RICH CAMPBELL Bears beat reporter (GORKANA.com, 10/16)....SMG named BOK Center GM JOHN BOLTON, former Trail Blazers Exec VP & CFO GREGG OLSON and former SMG Jacksonville GM LARRY WILSON Regional VPs.
