In L.A., Pringle & Lin reported L.A. Superior Court Judge Luis Lavin on Friday "ordered the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission to release documents it has withheld” from the L.A. Times for “as long as 20 months.” The ruling was "part of a sweeping condemnation of the commission’s conduct during months of secret talks” on USC’s lease with the stadium. Lavin also ruled that interim Coliseum Commission GM John Sandbrook "testified falsely as part of the agency's efforts to thwart public scrutiny of USC lease negotiations in violation of state law" (LATIMES, 10/5).

MEADOW MEALS: In N.Y., Jennifer Keil reports new dining and entertainment options "are coming to the Meadowlands Racetrack, which opens in November, in a 180,000 square-feet space over three floors, plus outdoor space.” The complex "will be run by" track operator Jeff Gural, Funbars.com CEO Michael Sinensky and ARK Restaurants (N.Y. POST, 10/7).

ROCC' AND ROLL: MULTICHANNEL NEWS' Mike Farrell noted Columbia Univ. on Saturday will “rename its soccer stadium” Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium in honor of the Mediacom Chairman & CEO. Commisso has been “an active contributor to the Columbia men’s soccer program for more than 40 years” (MULTICHANNEL.com, 10/3).
