Fox NFL preseason coverage led all sports telecasts over the weekend. The net's Colts-Giants game last night topped all programs with a 4.9 overnight. Fox also earned a 3.5 overnight for Friday night's Buccaneers-Patriots game. ESPN earned a 3.0 for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Michigan Int'l Speedway yesterday afternoon, down slightly from a 3.2 overnight for the same race last year. The net also earned a 1.0 overnight for the first-ever NASCAR Nationwide Series race from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, down from a 1.3 overnight for the race from Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve last year. NBC broke into coverage of the World Track & Field Championships early on Saturday to show the men's 200m final. The 30-minute window, which saw Usain Bolt win the 200m, earned a 0.7 overnight leading into NBC's first-ever EPL match.
