ESPN earned a 1.6 overnight rating for last night's Yankees-Orioles telecast, which marked the first "Sunday Night Baseball" telecast from Camden Yards since '05. The rating was up from a 1.4 overnight for Mets-Dodgers on the same weekend last year. The game also earned an 11.7 local rating in Baltimore, making it the highest-rated MLB game on ESPN in the market since at least '99 (as far as current records go back). There was one ESPN2 Orioles game in '04 that delivered a 12.5 local rating. Meanwhile, ESPN also earned a 1.5 overnight for the Brazil-Spain finale at the FIFA Confederations Cup. The net earned a 2.4 overnight in '09 for the Brazil-U.S. final.
