U.S. hurdler and bobsledder LOLO JONES yesterday posted a Vine video "cheekily complaining about her $741.84 check from the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation." Gold Medal-winning U.S. bobsledder STEVEN HOLCOMB called Jones' comments "a slap in the face." Holcomb said, "It wasn't taken very well. People were really kind of insulted." Jones in the video says, "Seven months with bobsled season. The whole season. That's it." Jones is then seen on the phone, "presumably talking to a mock landlord, she says, 'I'm going to be a little late on my rent'" (USA TODAY, 6/18).

LEAGUE OF HER OWN: Little League Baseball named Pennsylvania College of Technology President DR. DAVIE JANE GILMOUR BOD Chair. Gilmour is the "first woman" to lead the BOD, and it is the "highest-profile position held by a woman at Little League." Gilmour last week took part in the draw "that set up the opening-game matchups when the tournament begins in two months." She "never played" Little League (AP, 6/17).
