Amazon.com Has Best Reputation Among Most-Visible Companies; Nike On The Rise

Amazon.com has the best reputation among the most-visible companies in the U.S., while Nike continued to see an increase in reputation compared to previous years, according to the annual Harris Interactive Reputation Quotient poll conducted in November. The online poll among 14,512 people looked at 84 companies in the U.S. Amazon.com edged out Apple, who was last year’s leader. The auto and financial services industries had the strongest growth, while retail, technology and consumer product goods had the sharpest drops. Nike ranked No. 14 in this year’s poll, up from No. 20 last year and No. 32 in ’11 (Harris Interactive).
