MLS FC Dallas President & CEO DOUG QUINN has stepped down. Quinn, who has been on administrative leave following a November arrest, in a release said that the "decision to resign will allow him to spend more time with his family." FC Dallas Owner CLARK HUNT announced that Hunt Sports Group VP DAN HUNT will continue his leadership role with the club, which will immediately begin searching for a new president (FC Dallas). Quinn was “credited for finding" jersey sponsor AdvoCare and "increasing ticket sales at FC Dallas stadium.” Quinn was hired in ’10 to “turn the team around from a club that was having problems developing a fan base and attracting sponsors” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/20).
