CFL Attendance Best Since '08; Edmonton Has Now Led League 11 Straight Years

Canadian Football League teams averaged 28,193 fans per game during the ’12 regular season, marking the league’s best average since ’08. Attendance was up 1.5% compared to last season. The Edmonton Eskimos once again topped all teams at the gate, and have now led the CFL in attendance in each season since '02. After finishing last in attendance in '11, the Toronto Argonauts saw a league-best 18.3% jump at the gate this season. The Montreal Alouettes finished last in attendance, as the club saw a league-worst 6.7% drop at the gate.
