NBA TV Rolls Into Regular Season In Nearly 60 Million Homes

NBA TV is in 59.8 million U.S. homes as the regular-season kicks into full gear in November, up from 55.2 million homes at the same point last year. The league's other cable partners -- ESPN and TNT -- are both seeing their respective distibution down from November '11. The Weather Channel leads all U.S. cable nets with 99.8 million homes. No cable net has been in over 100 million homes since August. ESPNU is in a network-record 73.5 million homes in November as college football continues and the net begins college basketball telecasts.

Listed below is U.S. distribution for the top 10 cable networks in November, with comparisons to the same period in previous years. Also listed is distribution for networks with a heavy dose of sports content.
