NBC Sports Group named ESPN Senior Coordinating Producer DAN STEIR Senior VP/Production and Senior Coordinating Producer for NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network. Steir had been with ESPN since '89 and had been running all aspects of production for ESPNU over the last two years. He will oversee all studio programming at NBCSN, and will be involved in all production across NBC Sports and NBCSN. Steir will be based in Stamford, Conn., and report to NBC Sports and NBCSN Exec Producer SAM FLOOD (Austin Karp, THE DAILY).

EXECS: Univ. of Richmond AD JIM MILLER will transition to the newly established role of Assistant to the President for Athletic Advancement (Richmond)....The Univ. of Miami named ANDREW GOODRICH Assistant AD/Marketing (UM)....Colorado State Univ. named Drake Univ. Assistant AD/Communications PAUL KIRK Media Relations Dir. Kirk spent 13 seasons as Broncos Media Relations Dir and three years as a partner in Denver-based PR and marketing firm ProLink Sports (Colorado State).
