The Magic named Pistons VP/Basketball Operations SCOTT PERRY Assistant GM. Pistons Scouting Dir GEORGE DAVID is Perry's "likely replacement" (DETROIT NEWS, 6/26). In Orlando, Josh Robbins notes the Magic yesterday parted ways with Player Development Dir ADONAL FOYLE after two seasons on the job, and the move "comes amid more changes in the Magic's front office. Magic GM ROB HENNIGAN on Sunday "fired" Assistant GM DAVE TWARDZIK and six scouts (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/26). Also in Orlando, George Diaz wrote, "I don't understand the logic behind dumping Foyle, who is smart, and competent and relates well to players. He will find another job elsewhere in a heartbeat" (ORLANDOSENTINEL.com, 6/25).
