In L.A., Pringle & Lin report L.A. Memorial Coliseum Commission President DAVID ISRAEL "resigned abruptly Wednesday, saying he quit because his work on a deal to grant USC stewardship of the nearly bankrupt stadium was complete." Israel's departure "came as a key state official sharply criticized the commission for its handling of negotiations to turn over operation of the Coliseum to USC" (L.A. TIMES, 6/7).

EXECS: Fenway Sports Management and the Red Sox named Dolphins Senior VP/Public Affairs ADAM GROSSMAN Senior VP/Marketing & Brand Development. Grossman will be responsible for directing strategic marketing and branding for both organizations, as well as FSG's portfolio of properties including EPL club Liverpool, NESN and Roush Fenway Racing.
