Final Ratings: Thunder-Lakers Series Sets Local Record In Oklahoma City

TNT earned a 34.1 local rating in Oklahoma City for the Thunder's series-clinching Western Conference Semifinals Game Five on Monday against the Lakers. The rating marks a record in the market for a Thunder telecast, beating the mark set by Thunder-Lakers Game Two (30.3 rating). The five-game series averaged a 28.3 in Oklahoma City, also a Thunder record. The previous series record was set last year for the Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks (OKLAHOMAN, 5/22).

CHELSEA LATELY: Fox finished with a 1.1 final Nielsen rating and 2.0 million viewers for last Saturday's UEFA Champions League final, which saw EPL club Chelsea defeat Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in penalty kicks. That figure is down from a 1.4 rating (2.6 million viewers) for last year's FC Barcelona-Manchester United match, but up from a 1.0 rating (1.6 million viewers) for Inter Milan-Bayern Munich in '10. Saturday's telecast peaked at 2.5 million viewers during the final three minutes of the broadcast (Fox).

The charts below list final Nielsen ratings from recent sports telecasts. All ratings listed are U.S. ratings (THE DAILY).
