SBD/SBJ and Turnkey Search To Launch Compensation Survey

SportsBusiness Daily/Journal and Turnkey Search this week are launching a comprehensive study of employee compensation across the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and MLS. Employees of the teams in these five sports will receive an email from Turnkey inviting them to complete a short (5-minute) survey.

This project will aggregate data across all teams in those sports to show industry averages by sport, region, tenure, skill set, etc. Turnkey will keep all responses from each individual 100% confidential. SBD/SBJ will not have access to individual responses but will receive a summary report from Turnkey.

Respondents who complete the survey in full are eligible to be entered into a sweepstakes to win an expenses-paid trip to the 2012 World Congress of Sports in Dana Point, Calif., next month.

If you work for a team in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB or MLS, please watch your inbox this week for your survey invitation — and look for results in issues of SBD and SBJ later this year.
