The Univ. of Central Florida named Oregon State Univ. Exec Associate AD TODD STANSBURY VP & AD, replacing KEITH TRIBBLE, who was "forced to resign in November after investigators alleged he flagrantly violated NCAA rules while trying to steer recruits toward the school." Stansbury "hopes to officially start his new job in March" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 1/11). UCF President JOHN HITT said that "about 80 people applied" for the AD job (OREGONLIVE.com, 1/10).

EXECS: Executive search firm Korn/Ferry Int'l named JED HUGHES Global Sector Head of its sports practice. Hughes, who will be based in N.Y., previously led the sports practice at Spencer Stuart (Korn/Ferry)....NFL Network Dir of Communications DENNIS JOHNSON handed in his resignation to pursue other opportunities. He will remain with the network through the Super Bowl and has pledged to help out with a transition. NFL Net plans to interview candidates to replace Johnson (John Ourand, THE DAILY)....Scout Sports & Entertainment promoted NANDITA MOHILE to Production Supervisor. The company also named AUBREY JONES Production Coordinator, ALEXANDRA KAIN Production Assistant and STEVEN LANG Account Coordinator (THE DAILY)....Burton Snowboards is implementing a new structure for its North American in-house sales team. The company named SASHA DIETSCHI-COOPER VP/North American Sales for Burton, RED and anon, reporting to Exec VP/Product & North American Sales JOHN LACY. Under the new structure, Burton Resort Sales also will report to Lacy and will continue to be managed by Global Resort Dir JEFF BOLIBA (Burton).....Georgetown Univ. named Univ. of Maryland-Eastern Shore Associate AD and Senior Woman Administrator SHARON BRUMMELL Associate AD for Business & Finance and Senior Woman Administrator (Baltimore SUN, 1/10)....The Padres named MICHAEL BERENTSON Dir of Military Affairs (THE DAILY).
