As the regular season of college football winds down, and schools start preparing for upcoming bowl games, SportsBusiness Journal will look at what’s fueling the rapid growth of college sports. In this issue, corresponding to the 10th annual IMG Intercollegiate Athletics Forum, we’ll take a broad look at the state of collegiate sports including such subjects as how the continued rise of rights fees and the growing list of companies that have turned to college sports to try to tap into their passionate following. On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews.
