Cable TV Nets Fail To Reach 100 Million U.S. Homes For First Time Since '09

This month marks the first period since November ’09 in which there was not a single cable TV network topping the 100-million homes distribution mark. ESPN and ESPN2, the sports nets with the best distribution, both have not topped 100 million homes since July. As the '11-12 NHL season gets underway, Versus is in 75 million homes, up slightly from the same period last year. Listed below are the top 10 cable TV networks in U.S. distribution for October, with comparisons to previous years, along with similar data for networks carrying sports content (THE DAILY).
