Mavericks See Big Gains On Facebook, Twitter During NBA Championship Run

The Mavericks saw the biggest percentage gains in Facebook friends and Twitter followers among playoff teams during the '11 NBA postseason, up 156% and 97%, respectively, between April 15 and June 13. All NBA playoff teams saw double-digit percentage gains on their official Facebook page, while the league's official page also saw a 17.5% bump. Teams also saw big gains among Twitter followers, with the Heat up 72% and Bulls up 51%. Listed below are the number of Facebook friends gained for each NBA Playoff team from April 15 through June 13, as well as Twitter followers gained for those same teams during that timeframe (THE DAILY).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
