In Dallas, Brandon Formby reports Cowboys Stadium GM JACK HILL "will leave his post ... at the end of the month." Hill Thursday said that he is "moving on to new projects after overseeing the stadium's construction and then managing the building through its first two football seasons" and Super Bowl XLV. Hill said that he has "some upcoming projects in the pipeline, but none he can publicly disclose." Hill "held similar jobs overseeing Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and American Airlines Center in Dallas" before Cowboys Owner JERRY JONES hired him in '05. Cowboys COO, Exec VP & Dir of Player Personnel STEPHEN JONES said that the team "hasn't yet decided who will succeed Hill," and that former Texas Stadium GM BRUCE HARDY, "will help advise the company in the interim" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 5/6).

EXECS: After stepping down as the Univ. of Maryland men's basketball coach on Thursday, GARY WILLIAMS will remain at UM as Assistant AD and Special Assistant to AD KEVIN ANDERSON. Williams said that he also is "going to consult with Under Armour, which outfits Maryland's athletic teams, in addition to fundraising for the school" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 5/5)....Wasserman Media Group Senior Dir of Athlete Marketing ERIC LIEBLER is leaving the company to become ProCamps Worldwide Senior VP, effective May 9 (THE DAILY)....Iona College Thursday named Rampano College Acting AD EUGENE MARSHALL, JR.
