MillerCoors LLC has promoted President & Chief Commercial Officer TOM LONG to CEO, replacing LEO KIELY, who will retire June 1 (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 4/27). Long's promotion is "part of a succession plan announced in 2007, when Miller Brewing Co. and Coors Brewing Co. said they were forming the joint venture." Long previously served as President & CEO of Miller Brewing before the two companies merged in July '08 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 4/28).
EXECS: The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority yesterday "terminated the contract" of Exec Dir PERRI IRMER, "who had run the agency since 2004." Irmer earned $176,000 a year in the position. Former Illinois Gov.
