EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ALAN ROTHENBERG has been named Chair of Goal Media
     Group.  The company which will launch its global soccer Web
     site, www.goalnetwork.com, on November 15 (THE DAILY).
     ....MLS Commissioner DON GARBER has been appointed to serve
     on the Princeton Video Image (PVI) BOD, pending his election
     by PVI shareholders (PVI)....ESPN Internet Ventures sales
     exec DAVID COOPER has become Senior VP/Advertising Sales for
     Rivals.com (Rivals.com)....ESPN's Bob Ley reported that
     recently ousted Orioles GM FRANK WREN "signed on with the
     Atlanta Braves as a club vice-president and the assistant
     general manager under JOHN SCHUERHOLZ" ("SportsCenter,"
     10/13)....SportsForWomen.com has named GABRIELLE STUDENMUND
     as Senior Editor.  Studenmund was previously with American
     Health (SportsForWomen.com)....LISA GILLIS BORGES was named
     Dir of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.  Borges
     was with MA-based Woolf Associates' football and basketball
     division (Giving Back Fund)....ESPN Magazine named JERRY
     BEMBRY as General Editor of pro basketball and LUKE CYPHERS
     as General Editor of pro football.  Bembry spent the last
     ten years with the Baltimore Sun, while Cyphers spent the
     last six years with the N.Y. Daily News (ESPN Magazine).
          Chicago-based Intersport announced that DAVID CORBITT
     was named VP/Sports Management and PAT HENEGHAN was named
     Dir of Sports Management; ERIK PETERSON and KATIE SWEEN were
     named Event Coordinators, TODD KARLEN was named
     Communications/Operations Coordinator and JENNIFER HERMAN
     was named Manager of Accounting (Intersport).
          OTHER EXECS: DAVID SCHWAB was named Octagon Dir of
     Athlete, Corporate, Public & Media Relations (THE DAILY).
     ...LPGA Tour Media Relations Coordinator KIRSTEN SEABORG was
     named a Marketing Coordinator within the organization
     (LPGA)....The USOC announced two promotions: BUDDY GREGORY
     was named Dir of Facility Management and BILL KENNEDY was
     named Assistant Dir of Facility Management (USOC).
