with CA-based on-line shoe company Zappos.com. The Web-

Wayne Williamson issued a memo to track and cross country
coaches calling sports bras "inappropriate" for girls to
wear before, during or after meets unless covered by a full-
length jersey or coat (USA TODAY, 10/14)....The Third
District Court of Appeal in FL ruled that Randy Giunto's
shot during an NHL Panthers' $1M shoot-the-puck contest
stopped "dead on the line in front of the net." Giunto
claimed that he made the shot, but with the ruling, the
Panthers, Coca-Cola and Blockbuster "don't have to pay him
around $25,000 a year for the next 40 years," as a circuit
court jury found last year (MIAMI HERALD, 10/14)....Dallas-
based Team Mouse and ESPN launched the NFL ESPN
iSportsCenter Internet Stats Tracker & Screensaver, powered
by ESPN's SportsTicker. The screensaver displays
information about a particular team, including next game
location, opponent, time and broadcast availability, or
similar information about the entire league (Team Mouse).
...During Yankees SS Derek Jeter's at bat in the ninth

unveiling of Famous Fixins' "Jeter's" cereal (Fox, 10/13).
...The United Sports Fans of America (UsFANS) has retained
N.Y.-based MarComm Partners to aid its efforts to secure
sponsorship programs and assist in all future marketing
programs. UsFANS has also hired N.Y.-based PR firm Alan
Taylor Communications (UsFANS).
