THE MOAG, THE MERRIER! LEGG MASON BUILDS UP SPORTS DIVISION

          Legg Mason Wood Walker Managing Dir JOHN MOAG announced
     three additions to the Sports Industry Group he heads in the
     firm's Corporate Finance Dept.  Joining the group as a
     Principal is MITCHELL ZIETS, a former partner of Public
     Finance Management in Philadelphia, and KAREN BATCHELDER as
     VP in Legg Mason's Philadelphia office.  JOHN TENUTA, former
     VP/Business Affairs & Legal Affairs at ProServ, joins the
     firm as an Associate.  With the additions, Moag said that
     Legg Mason "now offers an unprecedented level of experience
     and innovation for the rapidly changing and opportunity-rich
     sports industry.  We have been there, we have done it, and
     we are constantly looking at new and creative alternatives
     for our clients" (Legg Mason Wood Walker).
