NBC FACES NORTH: EXPLORES NEW DOCUMENTARY SERIES

          NBC Sports and The North Face, a CO-based outer gear
     manufacturer, announced plans to produce a series of
     adventure programming beginning in December '99.  The
     series, called "The North Face Expeditions," will feature
     five one-hour documentary specials following the exploration
     of various world adventurers.  John Wilcox and his American
     Adventure Productions will produce the series which will
     debut on December 12 at 5:00pm ET (NBC/The North Face).
