CALLAWAY EDITIONS TO "SALVAGE" CALLAWAY MEDIA VENTURES

          Callaway Editions President Nicholas Callaway has
     "finessed an arrangement to salvage Callaway Golf Media
     Ventures, a two-year-old joint venture ... specializing in
     publishing" with Callaway Golf, according to Celia McGee of
     the N.Y. DAILY NEWS.  Callaway: "Callaway Editions is buying
     out Callaway Golf's interest in the media venture.  They
     were the majority partner.  The legal documents are being
     finalized right now."  More Callaway, on the venture's
     plans: "One of our planned golf volumes is about how to
     introduce [golf] to children" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 11/25).
