While the WNBA Shock offered money back guarantees to
fans who did not have a "great time" at last weekend's games
versus the Starzz and the Rockers, a team spokesperson told
THE DAILY that no patrons took the team up on its offer.
The Shock had been averaging 9,007 fans heading into the
weekend, and drew 8,180 for Friday's Starzz game and 8,573
for Saturday's Rockers game (THE DAILY).
OTHER NOTES: Negotiations on a Metrodome lease
extension between the Twins and the Metropolitan Sports
Facilities Commission resume this morning, but the sides
"disagree over the length of the lease and how long Twins
owner Carl Pohlad will agree to concentrate on finding a
