          The ESPN Chilton Sports Poll looked at the age and     gender of sports fans who own college and professional team     clothing.  The survey of 8,757 was taken between January-May     '98.  Of those surveyed, 43% own college team logo clothing,     while 50.5% own pro clothing (ESPN Chilton Sports Poll).
