TX-based Streetball Partners Int'l has been renamed
Streetball Int'l (Streetball). AD AGE's "On A Roll"
features Susan Bernhard, VP/Sponsorship Development for
Streetball's parent, Universal Sports America. Bernhard's
"growth" area: "Grass-roots marketing events for kids." Her
"tip" for sports marketers: "Grass-roots marketing doesn't
take money away from traditional media. It's usually from
local or merchandising budgets. Ad agencies are slowly
learning the value of partnering with grass-roots groups,
rather than fearing them" (AD AGE, 6/22 issue).
