DE LA HOYA'S EASY WIN EARNS HBO BIG SATURDAY NIGHT NUMBERS

          HBO earned a 12.0 rating/23 share for Saturday's Oscar
     De La Hoya-Patrick Charpentier fight.  Figures are based on
     ratings and shares for HBO only in homes that receive the
     channel.  The rating was the highest of the year for HBO's
     "World Championship Boxing" series, and the highest rating
     overall on the net since the George Foreman-Shannon Briggs
     bout earned a 14.9/24 rating last November (HBO).
          SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE FIGHTS: FX will premiere its new
     boxing series, "FX Championship Boxing Saturday Night," as
     part of the cable network's special "Basebrawl" night, June
     29, beginning at 8:00pm ET.  The boxing will be followed by
     "FX Baseball Saturday Night," and, to commemorate the
     channel's boxing debut, the first telecast will be preceded
     by a special airing of "Fallen Champion: The Untold Story of
     Mike Tyson," a '93 made-for-TV movie (FX).
